In the area of Villa Pesce there is plenty to do, depending on your needs and interests. As a small suggestion, we show you some ideas and tips.

Discover cities Nature Seaside Culinary Shopping
Acqui Terme: the Romans been known for its 75 degree warm sulfur springs and its thermal bath . Hearted historic small town with no traffic center , nicely renovated. Only 20 minutes away from Mombaruzzo worth it in the evening a short trip.
Asti : provincial Hleinstadt with historical, partly verkehsfreien center , and ideal to bring life to enjoy to explore. Known for the Palio horse race with period costumes , in each case on 3 Sunday in September. Saturday is market respectively. Asti is located about 25 minutes from Mombaruzzo.
Nizza Monferrato is located 15 minutes from Mombaruzzo only. The center is located around the large village square , where every 3rd Sunday in a beautiful antique market takes place. Also houses a regional Oenothek.
Alba : Probably the most famous city in the Langhe, the origin of the Slow Food movement and is known for the wine (such as Barolo ), its truffle fair and Ferrero . Ca. 45 minutes from Mombaruzzo away, on Saturday there is a vibrant market.
The port city of Genoa is the provincial capital of Liguria famous for its cuisine (pesto) and Tromp oeuil architecture. The sea and the maritime influence is exactly, the city is long and narrow, situated on the shores of the sea. Beautiful old city, with newly designed port, few parking spaces. In 1 hour away by car, slightly longer by train (change at Acqui).



Of course, then other cities such as Turin (1 hour) , Milan (1 hour) or Gavi (30 minutes) and many more are mentioned. As a small suggestion, we leave it here.

Also cycling fans come in Mombaruzzo and environment on your costs. Roads with little traffic and beautiful views. Do not forget the hills and slopes. ..



The Ligurian Sea is just a good hour drive from Mombaruzzo only. A wide variety of picturesque locations is at your feet:
- Portofino peninsula southwest of Genoa with the un cliffs and picturesque towns such as Portofino and Camogli
- Cinque Terre (ideally by train) with
- The coast from Genoa to Savona, next to the Blumenrivirea with beautiful beach resorts, some with sandy beach.

Keen to visit locql markets ? Wed / Fri in Acqui Therme, Fri in Nice. Thu / Sat smaller market in the village. All markets untill 12.30.
Large Designer Outlet in Sera Valle with a large selection of brands. Ca. 30 minutes from Mombaruzzo.
On weekends, there are numerous antiques and flea markets , curio and small treasures with. Quite Italian, see and be seen. First Sunday of the month in Acqui, third Sunday in Nizza Monferrato , and on the fourth Sunday in Casale Monferrato.
In October and November there is the truffle markets , the bekanntet in Alba. It achieved the legendary white truffle prices, depending on availability, quality and size. And there are all sorts of products, prepared with truffles.
